1) I wish + I could + مصدر

I wish I could help you with your homework.
I wish I could ride a horse.
2- I wish + فاعل + ماضى بسيط 
I wish it were fine today.
I wish I had a car.
3- I'd love to + مصدر :
I'd like to be rich.
4- فاعل  + dream of + v. + ing:
I dream of getting married and having children.
5- My goal is to + مصدر  :
My goal is to get a PhD in engineering.

2) Regrets   الندم / الأسف

1- I  wish + ماضى تام  :   للتعبير عن الماضى
I wish I had joined the Faculty of Science, but I didn't.
2- If only / I wish + I could + مصدر : للتعبير عن المستقبل
If only I could speak Chinese, but I can't.
3- I would really like to + مصدر  :
I would really like to be able to swim, but he can't.
4- I'm sorry I+ ماضى بسيط  :
I'm sorry I had a quarrel with my brother.
